It tells the story of how Billy Gibbons, Darcy Hill and Frank Bild became one of the largest and most popular bands on the planet, while maintaining the mystery of surrealism. 50 years after the band was founded, it still attracts fans and bystanders. Through candid band interviews, unprecedented archives, animations, recommendations from celebrity fans (Billy Bob Thornton, Joshua Holmes, etc.), and a private performance at the legendary Gruene Hall Hall specially filmed for the documentary, the performance of "that Little Old Band" ranges from absurdity to bitterness, from dirty Texas bars to MTV heroic performances. It's all to celebrate this notoriously private but more important trio. At the end of the film, the small band from Texas unveils an extraordinary story. We know their image, but we don't know their story.
