The play is loosely adapted from a film of the same name created by Olivier Assayas in 1996 and starring Maggie Cheung. The limited series revolves around American movie star Mira, who is disillusioned by career problems and a recent breakup. Mira traveled to France to participate in a remake of the classic French silent film Vampire, in which he played Irma Vep. During the shooting of this crime thriller, Mira gradually found that the distinction between himself and his character became blurred. "blurred robbery" will reveal the fuzzy zone between fiction and reality, skill and reality, art and life.
