Unlike the film's protagonists and stories, the show is described as "from the perspective of 20-year-old Hispanic woman Jesse Morales (Alexis), who dreams big and embarks on a lifetime adventure with her friends to uncover her mysterious family history and recover her lost treasure. Zeta Jones plays Billie, a powerful billionaire, black market antiques expert, and treasure hunter who has grown from a penniless orphan to a shrewd, stylish businessman and adventurer. Billie must get what she likes, and she has a deeper stake in the Pan am treasure, not just for money.
