Based on the life of Bai Dongxiu, the most powerful knight of the Korean era, Samurai Bai Dongxiu tells the story of the battle between the king's pro-guards and the assassin clique. Bai Dongxiu, played by Chi Changxu, is a samurai in the era of Li Chaoying and Zhengzu, who compiled the General Chronicles of Martial Arts. Together with King Zhengzu's escort, he competed with the samurai of the opposing assassination organization Black Candlestick. Yu Chenghao, played by Yu Yun, is North Korea's top swordsman, proficient in martial arts, swordsmanship, marksmanship, boxing, equestrian, and so on, which is the core figure of the secret organization "Black Candlestick" of the assassination of Zhengzu. The duel between the two will rise to a bloody battle between Jin Guangze, North Korea's sword god (Quan Guanglie) and Qian (Cui Minxiu), the strongest master of black lanterns.
