The American TV series "12 Monkeys", adapted from the classic science fiction film of the same name, will appear on NBC's Syfy channel on the evening of January 16, 2015, and the extended trailer has also been revealed. Aaron Stanford, who plays the computer master in the TV series Nikita, will play the leading actor James Cole, a role played by Hollywood's famous tough guy Bruce Willis in the movie version. Cole returned to 2013 from 2043 to find out the truth about the virus and save all mankind. The role played by Brad Pitt in the film will be "transformed" and will be taken over by actress Emily Hampshire. The TV version of "12 Monkeys" will be completely different from the movie plot. "We don't just want to do a remake," the show's producer Terry Matalas said in an interview. "the theme of the story is still the same, but the storyline is completely different." In the newly released trailer, the suspense and surprise scenes of the storyline can awaken the memory of many fans, which may be the best TV series broadcast on Syfy as a whole.
