A Guest Is Coming (1947)

After three bad guys robbed the bank, they fled to the Colorado border, while the sheriff followed closely, a mile from the Colorado border, the robbers found a man who had been shot and his wife was abducted by a gang of gangsters. Before dying, the man begged them to save his wife. In the case of pursuers later, they had to make a dangerous decision to either risk their lives to get the deceased's wife out, or escape to Colorado and get out of danger.
