A Holy Family (2022)

Three years ago, my elderly mother called and asked me to take a picture of her as a portrait. Father was addicted to the lottery and his fortune was scattered. The weirdest brother, he thought from an early age that he was psychic and was the medium of the gods. In the face of death, am I ready to lose my parents? With estrangement and knot, the director went home once. As he filmed and lived, he found that his relationship with his family had changed. Using his own family as the material, the director slowly tells the family story that he did not want to step into for more than 20 years. This film was shortlisted for the Swiss True Film Festival and won the best documentary, best editing and audience votes of the Taipei Film Festival, and the jury unanimously won the first prize of one million.
