A Samurai Chronicle (2014)
During the Edo period under the Tokugawa shogunate, the young samurai Tanano Chuang Saburo (Koichi Okada) quarreled with his friends over trifles and then drew a knife to hurt each other. The family old Zhonggen soldiers right guard door (Chuantian and Mei) pardoned his death crime and ordered him to monitor the movement of the samurai Akiya Toda (served by Hiroshi), who lives in a small mountain village outside the city. Toda once served as a prefecture, and his family were childhood friends. Seven years ago, he was asked about adultery with his lord's side room (Terajima Ren). Since Akiya had been responsible for writing the family tree of the Hanagan clan, the clan ordered him to complete the genealogy within ten years and commit suicide on the day of completion. With all kinds of doubts, Zhuang Saburo meets the calm Akiya and his wife Shijiang (Mieko Harada), daughter Kaoru (Horibei Meixi) and young samurai Yu Taro (Qingdeng Yoshida). In the process of getting along, Zhuang Saburo was gradually infected by Akiya's personality. when he investigated the incident seven years ago, he found some truth that had been deliberately hidden. This film is based on the writer Ye Shilin's work "Autumn Bear".
