A Summer at Grandpa's (1984)
Because her mother was ill in bed, Dong Dong (Wang Qiguang), a graduate of a primary school in Taipei, took her sister Ting Ting (Li Shuzhen) to the countryside for the summer vacation, spending time with local children while gradually seeing all kinds of faces in the adult world. My uncle (Chen Bozheng) had a wanted criminal in his room and was in love with a girl who provoked her grandfather to be furious. It was seen that the crazy woman (Yang Liyin) who was afraid of hiding made friends with Ting Ting and saved Ting Ting's life. In order to save the crazy woman, Grandpa didn't rush to Taipei to see his dying daughter. Although Dong Dong is a sensible child, it is hard for him to digest all the above. But when the mother and the crazy woman turned the corner, Dongdong learned that many things can't just look at the surface after listening to her grandfather.
