A Tale of Two Kitchens (2019)

Two countries, two restaurants, one vision. At the popular Contrama restaurant in Gabriela Camara in Mexico City, enthusiastic service and uniformed waiters are popular with diners, like fresh local seafood on the menu, which are captured within 24 hours. All the staff think of themselves as members of the extended family. At the Bay Building in San Francisco, meanwhile, Camara employs employees from different backgrounds and cultures, including former felons and former drug addicts, who see the job as an important opportunity for personal growth. The "Cold and warm Kitchen" explores how the restaurant can become a place where people can have dignity and form a community.
