Akashinga: The Brave Ones (2020)

The documentary Akasinga: the body without fear (Akashinga: The Brave Ones), produced by James Cameron, focuses on a group of hardcore women who are willing to be trained by the devil to guard endangered animals with guns, while the spiritual support behind it comes from nature's most powerful force: women's guardian instincts. In the view of organizer Damien Mander, these women, who have suffered from sexual assault and domestic violence, are better able to protect weak creatures than anyone else. "Akasinga" means "brave" in Shona. The film will premiere on Earth Day this year.
