Night and Fog (1956)
In 1956, director Alan Renai used a camera to lead the audience back to Auschwitz. At that time, the site of the Nazi concentration camp was already a peaceful and beautiful wilderness. But back in 1933, when the Nazis came to power, the city was shrouded in haze-large areas of centralized barracks were neatly arranged, and a large number of Jews were arrested in concentration camps and began to be subjected to inhuman torture and insults. Here, people are graded, numbered on the skin, and grade badges are sewn on the clothes. Disease, hunger and labor littered the concentration camps with corpses. Selem visited in 1942 and pursued a policy of "sabotage". Refugees in concentration camps entered an even more miserable situation and were bought by drug companies as an experiment. In 1945, the camp was overwhelmed and piles of bodies were bulldozed into large pits for burial.
