At the beginning of the 15th century, Russia was in a period of turmoil. The famous iconic painter Andre Lubliov (Anatoly Solonizen Anatoli Solonitsyn) went to Moscow to paint the church at the invitation of the archduke and received aristocratic service and treatment. However, Lubliov lived in a tragic era trampled by the iron feet of the Tatars and full of disasters and slaughter. Witnessing the plight of the people of Li under the tyranny of the archduke, Lubliov resolutely left the church and returned to the monastery. Soon after, Lubliov was forced to return to Moscow to create icons. However, in the face of the innocent killing of the residents and the merciless destruction of the church in the flames of war, Lublov once again fell into the doubt of the great contrast between art and reality and refused to continue painting. In 1423, the Tatar army was finally driven out of Russia. After the baptism of gunfire and blood, Lubliov finally completed the creation of the masterpiece Trinity. Andre Lubliov, the epic masterpiece directed by Soviet film master Andre Tarkovsky, presents the famous Russian icons of the 15 th century with its unique poetic film language and strong paintbrush like historical murals.
