Alibi and PBS Masterpiece co-produced a six-episode crime drama "Annika Annika", adapted from BBC Radio 4's very successful radio drama "Annika Stranded", created by Nick Walker. Nicola Walker plays the protagonist Annika Strandhed, a keen, witty and mysterious inspector. The show tells the story of Annika leading a newly formed maritime murder panel to investigate unexplained, brutal and seemingly inexplicable murders on the Scottish waterway. Annika manages her talented but unconventional team, facing an equally intelligent but complex teenage daughter, and in the process, by breaking down the fourth wall, she makes the audience her close friends and shares her ironic observations of the case and life.
