Antarctica: a year on Ice was filmed by Anthony Powell, a photographer who produced Frozen Planet for BBC, in more than a decade. The film finds its own way, and the people who appear in front of the camera are not the researchers, but the ordinary people who maintain the daily operation of the research station. Through faithful and careful records, it depicts the magnificent landscape of Antarctica and the lives of people on the ice sheet. Showing a natural and cultural style that has never been seen before. The film will be released in North America on November 28.
