Araf/Somewhere in Between (2012)

Zehra and Olgun work in monotonous shifts every day in an uninhabited highway restaurant. The environment they live in used to be an important industrial zone, which has been changed beyond recognition by economic waste and unemployment. Most of the residents in the area go to the big cities to look for opportunities. The protagonists and their friends still live in this abandoned area. Zehra has a crush on Mahur, an old truck driver. She hopes love will get her out of this living environment and her old-fashioned mother. After the first love Zehra was lovelorn, Olgun became rebellious, confused and refused to go out. Zehra and Olgun attended a bittersweet bar mitzvah, causing pain and awakening on both sides. They bid farewell to their innocent childhood, and love and hope will help them move on.
