Mercury Navigator is adapted from the cartoon of the same name by cartoonist Amano Amano. The background is set in the future, when humans have transformed Mars into a habitable planet covered with sea water, and built a new Venice city based on the model of Venice, the water capital. The work tells the tender story of the navigators who drive a small boat to show tourists around the city in New Venice, working, living and meeting people together. As Athena Yoshiko Kawakawa died in 2011, Athena will be voiced by Sister Sato Linai in the new film. The film, which had been scheduled for release this winter, was postponed to the spring of 2021 due to the epidemic.
