"Barbie" was selected in South Korea's cultural engineering film, meeting with Korea. Jin Cylon, who plays Shun Ying, and Jin Yalun, who plays Shunzi, are sisters in real life. In addition to her mentally retarded father and rogue uncle Wang Ze (Lee Tian-hee), there is also an unhealthy sister Shunzi (Kim Yaron) who needs her to take care of the kind and simple Korean girl Shun-young (Kim Sailun).
