Describe a tank battle between the allies and the Germans during World War II, led by General Heath played by Robert Shaw, in an attempt to make a full counterattack against the allies on Christmas Eve, but the plan failed and was discovered by General Cachen, played by Henry Fonda, so the two sides fought to the death. The original wide-screen film can quite show the war momentum of this giant film, which is of course greatly reduced when shown on the small screen. However, director Ken Anakin's narrative style is still smooth, coupled with a group of veteran actors Robert Ryan, Charles Bronson and others also work hard, making the film quite entertaining.
