In 1348, the Black death spread to Europe, leaving corpses all over the country and starving the streets. In this dark age, young English missionary Osman (Eddie Redmayne Eddie Redmayne) is still trying to stick to his faith and post. At this time, the knight Olick (Sean Bing Sean Bean) leads his men to the church where Ottoman is located. The cause was that the bishop heard that no one in a village near the Danwitz Forest had contracted the plague, so he sent Oleg to find out the situation. Because of the village's proximity to the hometown where Ottoman grew up, he volunteered to act as Orlick's guide. As a matter of fact, Orlick has an ulterior motive on this trip. Legend has it that the people of that village deviated from God, believed in cults, held strange rituals, and even brought the dead back to earth. Orlick's goal is to catch the leader. There are many crises along the way, but they do not realize that a bigger test is still waiting for them.
