The quiet life of well-known TV host George (Daniel Auteuer Daniel Auteuil), his wife Anna (Juliet Binoche Juliette Binoche) and son Pierre's family is broken by a videotape that George picked up from his doorstep, which shows someone quietly watching George's every move. Soon, more videotapes and threatening postcards were sent to George and his family. George, nervous about the invisible enemy, began to carefully protect his son and guide the content of the video, recalling the Algerian orphan Majid, who almost became a mother's adopted son many years ago. George suspected that Majid was responsible for the videotape, so he paid a visit, which led to an unexpected ending. This film won more than 20 professional awards such as Best Director Award and Phoebe Award at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival.
