As a highly lethal and contagious virus spreads around the world, Danny (Lou Taylor Pucci Lou Taylor Pucci) and his brother Brian (Chris Payne Chris Pine), girlfriend Bobby (Piper Perabo Piper Perabo) and good friend Kate (Emily Vankep Emily VanCamp) drive through the deserts of the southwestern United States as fast as they can. They were looking for a relatively safe place, but after a few days, they realized that there might be no place for them in such a big country any more. It is not only the raging virus that oppresses everyone's nerves, but they are also constantly forced to face the pressure of moral and ethical decisions and challenges-difficult and human choices they could not have imagined before. Soon, they found that the biggest enemy in front of them was not the deadly bacteria or viruses that constantly attacked and destroyed human beings, but the darkness and evil hidden in their hearts.
