Case départ (2011)

Joel and Regis are half-brothers. They don't know each other. The only thing they have in common is the same father. Joel is a black man, he is unemployed and his education is not high. He thought France was a racist country and blamed his black blood for failing to find a job and being so poor that he could not even afford a bus ticket. Regis is the exact opposite of Joel, and because of this, he does not admit that he is half black, let alone that he is of African origin. Of course, if you believed him, France's immigration and crime rates would have plummeted. Joel and Regis, whose father died of illness in the Antilles, gave the brothers a document, a document handed down by their slave ancestors since the time of slavery, which read: slavery has been liberated, and henceforth, the descendants of this family can enjoy complete personal freedom. From a modern point of view, this document can be regarded as a cultural relic, symbolizing a small amount of wealth. Both Joel and Regis wanted to own it, so the two brothers broke up. But they didn't know that a mysterious psychic old woman was secretly watching their every move.
