Helen Mirren is going back to TV! The trend for Oscar-winning actresses to get involved in / return to television is even worse. HBO has just invited Meryl Streep to join the second season of "big and small lies" and announced that Helen Mirren will star in the four-episode limited drama "the Great Catherine / Catherine the Great" (Catherine the Great) as the only queen in Russian history to be named as "the Great." It also gives HBO a chance to compete for limited Emmy awards in the drama category, and "Lies", previously classified as a limited series, was classified as a drama series because of its renewal. The show explores the life of the world's most powerful female monarch in a politically unstable and erotic court, her affair with General Gregory Pogarkin, and a regime intertwined with scandals, intrigues and conflicts. HBO described it as "telling the story of obsessive love". Catherine and Potemkin could not marry and promiscuous openly, but established a unique and loyal relationship, defeating countless opponents and turning Russia into the strongest empire of the time. Worked with Mirren on Nigel Wi..., the screenwriter of the 2005 limited series Elizabeth I.
