Teenage Christina, her brother Bobby and their father, James Tarling, moved to a rental house in a small town in Washington, close to Christina's mother, Joanne, who was detained in asylum. The house was repaired by Howie Rhodes, and Christina has a boyfriend, bad boy Eddie Duncan (Eddy Duncan). When Christina was in the house, she heard a noise and permanently felt that another person lived there, but her father thought it was a building being placed. When the two teenagers disappeared, the strange sheriff Mark Sklar visited the Darling family because the last place they saw the teenager alive was near their home. When a body is found in a river near a house, the magistrate will investigate the site with a view to conviction.
