Clash by Night (1952)
Barbara Stanwick plays a cynical woman who goes home to live with her brother Keith Andes. Joe is not very happy and hopes that his girlfriend Peggy (Marilyn Monroe) will not be influenced by her worldly influence. Without a choice, she married Paul Douglas, the cannery owner. Jerry knew she didn't love him, but hoped she could love him. Then they had a child, and even so, Steinwick couldn't change his nature and fell in love with Jerry's friend Robert Ryan. After Jerry learned that his wife was having an affair, the two clashed.
