16-year-old Junki Runxi (Komatsu Kenai), a 16-year-old student in a high school, has a very bright brain. Although she often wins the first place in the whole grade, she always deliberately hides her feelings. It is difficult for others to see any emotional fluctuations in her poker-like expression. Only her good friend Nami Yamamoto (Miyue Yamamoto) can enter Runxi's inner world. In the most recent mid-term exam, Runxi's English score was only 0, which annoyed the head teacher Yasukuni Sakurai (Shigeru Yamashita), so she arranged to make up lessons for Runxi regardless of whether the girl wanted it or not. Sakurai is handsome, confident and admired by the girls, but Runxi hates this arrogant guy. In order to get rid of teacher Sakurai, she tried her best to learn English.
