Coming Down the Mountain (2007)

David (Nicholas Holt Nicholas Hoult) and Ben (Tommy Jesp Tommy Jessop) are supposed to be brothers, but Ben unfortunately suffers from Down syndrome. Father John (Neil Dezhen Neil Dudgeon) and mother Sheila (Julia Ford) devote all their time and energy to themselves, and it is conceivable that after their death, such a burden will fall on David, who is a brother. From childhood to childhood, David was the neglected one in the family. In order to take care of Ben, the family ran around without fixed abode. The wandering life made David leave his friends and lovers. Living in loneliness, he blamed all the faults on his brother. One day, David coaxed Ben into camping on the mountain. Just as Ben was standing on the top of the mountain, immersed in the magnificent scenery, David made a decision that he regretted for the rest of his life.
