Set on the outskirts of Hustol in the early 1970s, a disbanded youth summer camp for people with physical and mental disabilities carried out a parallel transformation, opening the prelude to the rights movement for people with physical and mental disabilities and changing the lives of young people and the history of the United States forever. The film is directed by Jim Leibrecht (Jim LeBrecht) and Nicole Nicole Newnham (the former is a student of the camp), who are also co-producers with Sara Bolder and directed by Howard Gertler Getler.
