The 13-year-old boy has done all kinds of ridiculous things with his father and uncle since he was a child. In winter they shave off their legs, put on powder, dress up as women and show off in taverns; in summer, they step on their bicycles naked in the sun. Blood has become the boy's heavy shackles, accustomed to seeing uncles doing nothing all day, he can not help but wonder whether he can not escape the reincarnation of fate. Between the fight and drunkenness, the film painted a mutilated but warm portrait of the family. The film features Gunther Strobbe, a 13-year-old Belgian boy in the 1980s, who lives with his father and three uncles at his grandmother's house. The family is made up of alcoholics, gamblers and playboys, but Gunther Strobbe has a deep love for what outsiders consider to be a disgraceful family.
