The story begins in 1863 when a group of outlaws led by William (Henry James) robbed a small shop in Arrabal. In order to avoid being hunted by the soldiers, they hid in a rare farm and planned to stay one night and then go to Mexico. However, in the past, there had been a murder in the farmer, and the force of the enemy made it impossible for the farmer to escape from the countryside, and those who wanted to escape had no choice but to die.
