Distant Constellation (2017)

The twists and turns took place in an old people's home in Istanbul. The camera focused on a group of weather-beaten old people: a hoarse woman confided how she had experienced an Armenian genocide, a kind and lost pianist confessed his love with his piano, and a blind photographer fiddled with his flash. Turn on us with his own camera. Xie Wan Mizrahi's vivid and delicate film finds a charming rhythm from this group of seemingly unbearable old people. But at the same time, outside the old people's home, a pile of construction equipment is changing the land.
