In order to perform the play Journey to the West at the freshman welcome party, Nobita class held a rehearsal for the play. Nobita (voiced by Ohara is Pear) wants to be Sun WuKong, but he is only a villager. In order to prove that he is most like Sun WuKong, Nobita took the opportunity to fly to the Tang Dynasty in China, wanted to see Sun WuKong, and really saw "Sun WuKong". Later, Nobita bet on the props of Doraemon (dubbed by Dashan Xindai), proving that Sun WuKong is very much like Nobita. Nobita and his friends came to the Tang Dynasty, but did not see Sun WuKong. So Nobita pretended to be Sun WuKong with Doraemon's simulated game machine, and was finally seen through. Because the machine was not turned off properly, the monster in the game ran out of the game machine. Monsters finally rule the world, Nobita they are also in danger. In order to restore history and save Master Xuan Zang, Nobita, Shizuka (voiced by Daozi Nomura), Xiao Fu (Gan Fu and Tai dubbed) and Takeshi Okada (voiced by Ribi and also dubbed) pretended to be Sun WuKong to protect Master Xuanzang and embarked on an adventurous journey. The story is adapted from the novel Journey to the West.
