The woman who passed out on the platform of the subway station has a story, and so does the man who runs away like Chaplin at the sight of the police. In Iliad, the adventure in which the protagonist begins in the Aegean Sea is also a wonderful story. Just above this sea, under the same blue sky, human civilization was born here. After a trip to heaven and hell, the protagonist's adventure miraculously ends in Paris, the place where countless ronins dream. What this film wants to do is to project everyone's fantasy into reality. At the same time, it also tells the story of the previous generation of parents crossing mountains and seas, working hard, overcoming difficulties and hardships to set up a family. Elias's story does not belong to Ulysses, nor to Jean-Claude Van Damme, nor to the director's own story, but in Elias, many people may be able to find something familiar through him. People can see a little bit of themselves more or less.
