Edges of the Lord (2001)

This film tells the story of 11-year-old Jewish Romica (Haley Joe Osmond), who, in order to escape the persecution of the Nazis, is taken in and hid in the countryside by his father's friends, living with his children, meeting some friends and going to church together. Listen to the priest. But what puzzles Romica is that these children often go to the railway station late at night. I don't know why. Children and Jews in the village are also often assassinated and raped. Romica inadvertently discovered that some village children of non-Jewish origin were mistaken for Jews and were sent to concentration camps. But is it lucky or unfortunate that Romica saved his life because he was mistaken for a local village child?
