Faster (2003)

This is the first film to enter the MotoGP world since it was televised. The sport was watched by thousands of spectators on the track and turned into prime-time entertainment, providing entertainment for 350 million people around the world. The MotoGP world champion is the pinnacle of motorcycle sports, holding 16 races on five continents, including 24 of the world's top drivers. FASTER filmed around the world in the 2001 and 2002 seasons and asked a question: how do you outperform others and win this fascinating and dangerous game? The subtitle of the film is: how do you beat Valentino Rossi? The 24-year-old Italian, who won world championships in 2001 and 2002 and now dominates MotoGP, is the center of the film's charm. In addition, FASTER focuses on three other drivers: Rossi's arch-rival Max Biaggi; the brilliant but vulnerable Garry McCoy; and the rising teenage star John Hopkins whose supporting roles tell stories including former world champions, including Mick Mick Doohan, Kevin Kevin Schwantz, Wayne Rainey, Kenny Kenny Roberts and Barry Sheene.
