John's father Frank (Dennis Quaid Dennis Quaid) died in a fire-fighting operation 30 years ago. Once, while looking through his father's belongings, John (James Karwiese James Caviezel) found an old-fashioned radio that his father used 30 years ago. While flipping the frequency band, he unexpectedly hooked up with a young man named Frank. After a long talk all night, John determined that time and space had gone wrong, and this Frank was his father 30 years ago. John was so excited that he helped his father avoid the disaster 30 years ago. When he woke up and was surprised to find his white-haired father in the picture frame, he knew he had succeeded. However, what is unexpected is that everything in history has been rewritten. John saved his father, while his mother died in a serial murder many years ago. When John contacted his father 30 years ago again by radio, trying to get his father to stop his mother from being killed, the father accidentally became a suspect!
