Daxianyi Agricultural University (commonly known as Shrimp Yi Nonggao) located in Hokkaido is a boarding agricultural high school. Most of the students are farm children who aim to engage in agriculture. At the beginning of the new school year, Shrimp Yinonggao welcomed a different student, Yong Wu (voiced by Ryuhei Kimura), who came to the countryside from the city and passed the normal entrance examination. He is now a freshman in the dairy animal department. All the classmates around him have ideals of inheriting the family business and becoming a veterinarian, but he can't find a clear goal in life, which makes him feel restless. He thought he had excellent grades and could win the first place in the exam, but he found that the curriculum of Nonggao was very different from that of an ordinary senior high school. In addition, Nonggao's societies are all sports departments, and with the encouragement of Miyingqiu (voiced by Miyake Ma Li Hui), the weak Baxuan chose the equestrian department. In this Shrimp Yi Nong Gao Li, which has the largest area of colleges and universities in Japan and is surrounded by magnificent natural scenery and rural customs, Baxuan's youthful life begins! This animation is adapted from Hiroshi Arakawa's popular cartoon of the same name.
