Adapted from a true story, the drug lord is created by Belonica Fernandez and directed by Jorge Torre Grossa ("unexpected Life", "the Great Hero" and "Velvet Collection"). The show tells the story of Helena (Adriana Ugarte), a prostitute who started out as an ordinary employee of Marpika (Javier Rey), the gang leader in Barcelona in the 1960s. A series of severe and dangerous tasks changed Helena from nobody to the head of the organization, seizing control of the heroin trade.
