Heung Gong fa yuet ye (1995)
The story takes place in Hong Kong in the 1960s. Zhang Jiaying (Zheng Jiaying) and shoeshine boy Gao Zhi (Cao Yonglian) have been childhood playmates since childhood, and their friendship is still very strong when they grow up. Although Gao Zhi has a humble identity, Zhang Jiaying has never looked down upon her friends. Unfortunately, Zhang Jiaying's father lost everything because of the stock market crash. in desperation, Zhang Jiaying had to come to the Xiangjiang nightclub with Gao Zhi to join the singer Johnny (Teddy Robin) who sang there. Johnny, once a popular pop king, has long been forgotten by fans and committed to making a living by being funny and selling idiots in a small nightclub. Johnny is very pessimistic about his future. However, when Zhang Jiaying and Gao Zhi appeared at his side and worshiped him as a teacher, Johnny found the hope of life again.
