Japanese animation director Yoshiaki Kawagari's new film "Highlander: The Search for Vengeance", famous for "Monster City,"Vampire Hunter D" and "Vampire Hunter D," will finally be released to the audience after nearly two years of production, but unlike the previously announced film released as a theater, the 80-minute animated film will be released directly in the United States on June 5, DVD, divided into ordinary version and special version. The animation's official website released an one-and-a-half-minute trailer on March 14, which still retains the usual fierce style of Kawagiri from the gorgeous picture. Highlander: The Source, the fifth film in the series, will also be released in North America by Lion Gate in September this year. The animated version, which was first released in June, is a new attempt by the producers of the "Highlander" series in conjunction with Japanese animation masters. The animation is co-produced by Japanese MADHOUSE Animation Co., Ltd., which maintains a long-standing relationship with Yoshiaki Kawagawa, and American MANGA Animation Co., Ltd., which specializes in Japanese animation.
