Mike (Matt long Matt Long), a young man from Pennsylvania, is a star player at Northwestern University. His life is centered on rugby and sunny. On the eve of Christmas Eve, Mike returns to his hometown with his beautiful girlfriend Elizabeth (Jessica Stepp Jessica Stroup). They are warmly welcomed by friends in their hometown, with perhaps one exception: Mike's ex-girlfriend, former high school football cheerleader queen Hilby (Mischa Barton Mischa Barton). After graduating from high school, the two chose to break up, while Hilby still loved Mike for years and longed to get back together with him. After the nightclub carnival, Elizabeth decided to rent a hotel alone, only to be involved in a car accident on the road, which was caused by Hilby. In a panic, Hilby took Elizabeth to his home for treatment. Looking at the weak and poor girl in the hospital bed, Hilby decided to trap her at home and let her disappear completely from Mike's world.
