'I Know Where I'm Going!' (1945)

Joanne (Wendy Shearer Wendy Hiller) is a rare woman who is very independent. She knows what she needs and what price she has to pay to meet her needs. One day, she boarded a cruise ship to Scotland to meet her fiance, a man who was rich but old enough to be her father. Although Joanne had no feelings for this man, she knew that once she married into a wealthy family, she would lay the foundation for her glorious life in the future. On the cruise ship, Joanne meets the captain named Toquille (Roger Lavusay Roger Livesey), who is humorous and full of youthful vitality, and his activity attracts Joanne's attention. The unexpected arrival of a storm hindered the cruise ship, during which time there was a spark of passion between Joanne and Toguire.
