Inside the Milky Way (2010)

The film will lead audiences on a journey across 100,000 light-years to witness a critical moment in the history of the Milky way. Viewers will have the opportunity to walk into the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky way, learn about the birth and death of stars, explore the structure of the Milky way, and look for signs of extraterrestrial life. This is a documentary about you and me and the history of 200 billion stars. Our solar system lies on the edge of the vast heavenly kingdom, a huge cluster of stars that relies on gravity to make up the Milky way. Today, the data collected by astronomers allow them to look at our Milky way in a new and exciting way, if we can visit those neighbors up close, these data allow us to see how different other neighbors are in our huge stellar cities through strange trips through time and space.
