This film is adapted from the novel Blood-stained amorous feelings-the Story of 1589, written by Stendhal, a famous French critical realist writer in the 19th century. In order to honor the family, the aristocrats sent their daughters to the monastery to cultivate their character. Born into the richest families in Florence, the nuns clung to the colorful outside world and did not want to leave the bustling city that was the commercial center of Europe at the time, lamenting what they had been deprived of. They protested strongly against their parents' injustice. Sometimes they have to find comfort in love. So the nuns try their best to indulge, and the nuns pursue a variety of sexual pleasures. The old nuns want to stop the nuns from trying the evil of lust, but the ban can only be in vain, because nuns basically have their own lovers in private. While the nuns were away, the priests examined the nuns' rooms and punished them once they found evidence of their infidelity to God. Most of the nuns were young, bored with life in the monastery, and their daily pastimes were monotonous. As a result, the abstinence rules and precepts made them ignite the scorching sun of hatred, and at last something great happened in the monastery. The nuns joined hands to take extreme actions, dropping poison into the dean's tea bowl. The dean died, and the nuns seemed to be free. That night they indulged as much as they wanted. However, excessive madness does not bring eternal freedom to the nuns. The next day, the abnormal death of the dean brought in the police. Several nuns who knew they were sinful could only commit suicide in fear of crime.
