In the mountains of Kochi Prefecture, Japan, there lives a middle-aged woman with a beautiful appearance. (acted the role of Tianhai Sukehi). When she was young, she fell in love with her brother. After this unforgettable experience, Maxi chose to live in seclusion in the mountains and live a peaceful life by making Japanese paper. It is rumored by the villagers that Mei Xi has the pedigree of the "dog god" and that anyone who is close to her will encounter misfortune. One day, Meixi meets the new young teacher Akira Noda (Takuro Watanabe), and the two estranged people quickly fall in love. It seems that because of the moistening of love, Mei Xi becomes more and more young and beautiful. This change further confirmed the villagers' speculation that they were scared and angry in an attempt to drive Mei Xi out of the mountain village.
