Jazz on a Summer's Day (1959)
Summer Jazz took place at the Newport Jazz Festival in 1958 and was directed by advertising and fashion photographer Bert Stern. The film is a mix of fluctuating water, city performers and music festival audiences, as well as scenes from the 1958 America's Cup. Except for the occasional announcement by host Willis Conover, there is little dialogue and explanation in the film.
