Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (1999)

There are only three DVD musicals produced by Weber. They are Cat, Stars and Joseph and the Magic clothes. The play, Weber's debut, has been in London since 1968, when Weber was only 20 years old. It was this play that began Weber's musical legend. Joseph's story is based entirely on Biblical Genesis, which tells the story of Joseph, who was spoiled by his father, was envied by his eleven brothers, betrayed to Egypt, and finally returned home and became friends with each other. Joseph, the leading actor, is played by Donny Osmond, a 1970s youth idol, a former rock singer who reborn after joining Weber Kingdom when his career was struggling (he also appeared in Weber's 50th Anniversary Concert). He sang "Close Every Door to Me" in the play, which vividly depicts Joseph's mood after being framed, which is very desolate and touching. The play has luxurious scenery, dizzying song and dance scenes and rich musical elements. It is a repertoire suitable for young and old.
