Korkoro (2009)

In 1943, France was still under the iron feet of the Nazis, and in the darkest days of World War II, France became purgatory. Gypsies are naturally free and unrestrained and wander about. Although there is no word freedom in their language, this unfettered spirit has been integrated into the blood of the people. Tarosh (James Tyre James Thierree) is no exception, but he and his people are always in danger of being slaughtered by the Nazis. At that time, 500000 Gypsies were locked up in concentration camps and slaughtered, and the Vichy government even banned Gypsies from wandering. In order to avoid the pursuit of demons, they kept running. One day, as they pass through a small village, the village head Hildo (Mark Lavoni Marc Lavoine) and the female teacher Monde (Mary-Josh Kroz Marie-Josee Croze) provide them with temporary shelter. Tarosh and his gypsies feel warm and happy here. However, double threats from the German Nazis and the French Vichy government imposed the death penalty on this day of freedom. Tarosh had to continue on the road with his people.
