Lake Mungo (2008)

One day in December 2005, the Palmer family of four were relaxing in a reservoir near the Alarat Mountains in Australia, when bad luck came suddenly, and the Palmer family's 16-year-old daughter Alice (Talia Zamo Talia Zucker) disappeared while swimming. Shortly after that, search and rescue teams found Alice's body, and the Palmers spent a grieving and unforgettable Christmas. The sadness has not yet receded, but the atmosphere of terror is wanton. On the 10th day after Alice's burial, strange phenomena began to occur frequently at Palmer's house. They could feel their dead daughter coming home again. Great fear haunts me for months and lingers. They hope to get rid of this endless nightmare as soon as possible. The film was filmed in the form of a documentary and won the Toyota Earth Award at the 2008 Tokyo International Film Festival.
